The dolphins in the title made me blink, because I thought the dolphin prompt was one of the most difficult ones for DS Match and I was surprised anyone would voluntarily take them on!
I enjoy this kind of misunderstanding, where they both feel their advances wouldn't be welcome and misinterpret each other's actions and reactions. I felt bad for both of them in the part where Ray avoided Fraser's touch.
The title of the third section is fun, if a bit ominous!

Oh, wow, where do I start? I'm a sucker for could-be-an-actual-episode plots and this hit that target perfectly, and-- and Dief! Talking with his new doplin friends! And...
'"Shit. I am so screwed." From under the desk, Dief barked in agreement.'
'The speed with which Fraser complied had Ray choking back a laugh. "I love you," he murmured as he pushed Fraser's undone jeans down his legs, letting them pool carelessly around his feet. The starched white boxes quickly followed. "I love you so much." He stroked down the long line of Fraser's legs, enjoying the feel of strong muscle and smooth skin under his hands, as he knelt down.'
Eeee! Snark and sweetness and then the hot, hot sex!

Heh, love the litterature injokes of the chapter titles and I adore the visual images of a typically insane day at the precinct -- convention of mascots indeed *cracks up*
