This story made me despair of all of them, sigh, and beam by turns. I enjoyed watching the plot unfold. Your descriptions of RayK dancing were brainbendingly lovely, and all the way through I was waiting for Vecchio to get enough hugs to heal him a little. Beautiful.

You know, it was your A Year In The Life...that sold me on f/k/v and you do it so well that it amazes me. Heartbreaking, real, hot, sexy, and just wow. Thanks you.

Great job, I really enjoyed this. It was fascinating to see how Vecchio's perception of Kowalski changed. The scene where he corrects K's report is wonderfully sweet. And the scenes with K dancing? *drools from the hotness* Also, being Swedish, I was amused by the Swedish car.

i just love stories that have an outsider's observation on kowalski and fraser, and this was a great example. vecchio's comments about what an odd duck kowalski really is were very, very fun for me, and SO TRUE. and i absolutely ADORED your characterization on stella. the little passage where she is explaining how ray loves, and why she became exasperated with it is brilliant and rings true. thank you so much for this fun and poignant and interesting FKV story!!!

That was *wonderful* Now I want to hug them all and feed them cookies (and tuck myself in with them, of course). This is why I love F/K/V, because you can have stories like this. They work, and they work for long plotty fic, not just for PWP. Lovely story, great Vecchio voice. I admire anyone who can write good Vecchio and this is a great example.

Oh, this made me tear up. The relationships feel very organic. And, I really like how much they care about each other - that that's the priority for each man. Also, the little glimpses of Stella are intriguing. Thanks for sharing this with us.

I just re-read this, and just – WOW, seriously, WOW, you built a whole WORLD here. I love SO MUCH about this – Kowalski's conversation with Stella, where we just hear his side of it, at the very start. Kowalski fucking Fraser, LOUD, just so Vecchio can hear. THIS:
>>>Got an S.O.S. stamped on their forehead? Benny bellys up to the bar. And this sad S.O.B. sitting in front of me? Call out the St. Bernards.
SO TRUE. The circled want-ads – HEE. And THIS:
>>Give him a chance. He is very passionate..."
"I heard."
"No, not..." he blushed as red as his tunic. "Well, that too, but I mean he has an enormous capacity to love."
Oh, BOYS. And omg, the SAAB:
>>I turned to Kowalski in the back seat. "Saab makes aircraft engines, too."
He growled, "I gotta drive this fucker. Hand me the keys, Vecchio. Now."
Vecchio WINS. And man, the scene where he finds Kowalski sacked out in the precinct, and fixes his report? SO much love. And THIS made me crack the fuck up:
>>>"That's Stella Vecchio, jerkface."
"Kowalski."
"Vecchio."
"Kowalski."
"Vecchio."
All the way out to the car.
*HEARTS* And WOW, Kowalski dancing? SO fucking hot, seriously, that whole damn THING – every part of it, from Kowalski getting ready to the descriptions of him dancing – KILLED me. HOW is he so hot? My GOD:
>>>He gave off this vibe that if you walked off the floor with him into a bathroom stall, he'd nail you against the wall and do you in time to the music.
Nrrrrrgh. This was just fabulous. I love the hotel room scene – I love that Vecchio insists upon explicit permission from Fraser. And I LOVE how you wrap things up – how well they all understand each other, and how they don't quite all fit in the same place, but they make it work, b/c they HAVE to, b/c: LOVE. This was really great, I ADORE it. Thank you SO MUCH (again!).

oh, oh, OH, I LOVE this. I was SO HOPING I'd get a threesome fic, and man, you just NAILED the fighting and roughness in the back and forth with Vecchio and Kowalski, and just - oh, FRASER. this whole thing was SPLENDID - I will be back later with further (real) feedback, but I LOVED IT. THANK YOU.

Oh, this Vecchio makes me ache, he's so sharp and brittle. But then, all three of them are so scared, and each is so in need of saving, right up to the end. I'm glad it ends on a hopeful note!
