The descriptions of future Fraser were particularly chilling. And Ray unplugged was also a quite creepy idea. Your Fraser voice is excellent and I think this story was well thought through and excellently resolved.

*Ray unplugged* was dangerous and scary and angry. (And sexy.) Love him! Loved the scene in Welsh's office. Fiddle-dee-dee: something I'd never have thought Ray would say...and that I believed completely in this story.
Fraser's met his match! Be afraid, be very afraid. :) I really enjoyed this. Interesting use of the "Christmas Carol" device. Magical-realism at work again. Scary vision for Fraser, well imagined and well described. And of course a great ending. I LOVED Ray's instantly noticing something was wrong with Fraser and running across the room to help, "unplugged" or no. The ending was fun: "The Americans are going for an upset." Hee! Great fun!

Oh Fraser, you stubborn son of a bitch. I was getting pathetically teary during the progression of weeks. But Ray getting plugged back in was a VERY good thing.
And I adored this: "Ray gets off an O Canada before I shove him against the wall and silence him with a kiss."

Oh. *OH*. Whoever you are, I love you. Lots and lots and lots.
I love your Ray voice and your Fraser voice. And finally Bob stepping up to help out.
I loved the details in this story, the people that Ray and Fraser could have been and thankfully who they ended up being instead.
*hugs tightly*
Thank you so, so much for my wonderful gift!
