This is so beautiful. Ray sounds so like Ray, and it's so like him to ignore the fact that he can't swim if Fraser needs him, and this is just gorgeous:
Because...because maybe he loved him. And because maybe he was gay. And because 'maybe' was just the kind of word cowards used when they were reaching for something to keep themselves afloat in unfamiliar waters.

I don't often comment but this... I couldn't keep quiet about! I read it on the train coming home from work. That was a big mistake! I think I meeped a few times! This is the way Fraser always should be written. I didn't want it to end! So hot....

This was hot! And I thought that both Fraser and Ray's actions and reactions were very in character and believeable. Good job.

I love it when one of them panics that he's lost the other, and this story really brought Ray's fears to the forefront. Angsty, honest, and yummy.

Delicious! I thought you got the urgency of Ray's confusion and his pain at seeing Fraser hurt down very clearly . . . and they made a really interesting counterpoint to the hotness of Ray's memories of the night before. Nice job!

There is something so hot about the way Fraser is so focused and into Ray in this story. It was such an interesting counterpoint to Ray's freaking out, and the horror of seeing Fraser nearly die. I spent a lot of the time trying to figure out if the near death an rescue had actually even happened. It felt so surreal and nightmarish, that I wondered if it really were merely a nightmare, and a reflection of Ray's uncertainty. Anyway. Good intensity, and it makes for some hot Fraser.

I love the after the fact freakout before we even know WHY he's freaking out. And the snuggling at the end. Oh cuddly Fraser, I love you so.
