i meant to get caught up on THIS year's dsss tonight, but instead found myself poking around in previous years' and BOY am i glad i did! i missed this somehow and it is 100% wonderful. i absolutely love how brave ray is in the end! and the characterization of fraser as being simply incapable of what it takes to bring them together? SPOT ON. oh, oh! and tiberius! you made me so sad for him, and i loved how you used that sadness to galvanize ray in to taking action.
basically, i loved everything about this story, and i am so glad i stumbled across it today. thank you!

Excellent! I like the build-up of the story (as well as the resolution, of course); the letters and dream visitation are a nice touch.
